“ Fantastic grown-up version of a college town fav The smash will put you on your butt so be warned I was also impressed with their side salad Top notch food that's true to its name. P.s The tostones are a go to! ”
“ Just passing through and WOW, what a find! They are doing everything right here! From the moment we entered...the hostess had a smile, the waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu, also had a smile, and spot on helpful! The food was delicious - mojo seasoning superb!!! My husband and I both had sandwiches (the bread is so freaking good, no wonder they sell it to go!) We sat outdoors and the Cuban music was fun (just the right volume.) Mmm, the mango ice tea! Thanks to the entire staff for making it so wonderful! ”
“ First time visiting. The food was delivered hot and quickly. ”
“ Starter Thursday! Croquetas, Empanadas sampler, Cuban sliders, red beans and rice, and the most famous of them all....Gordos sauce! All excellent! ”
“ The best Cuban restaurant in Florida. The dishes are really generous and for a good price. I'll come back for sure. I love the place, I love the food ”
“ Honestly don’t remember much about the restaurant. It is certainly one of the restaurants of all time. For those just looking at the stars, and not the review shame on you. Read my words. I used to eat here when I worked a hard physical job, so it’s tied to trauma. But anyways. I asked my former girlfriend’s dad if I could marry her here. He said yes. I say former because she died in a horrible car accident. So her dad said yes but I guess she said no. They changed an NHL playoff game to an NBA playoff game, which was a big no no. I had a Cuban in my mouth at the time, so when I asked them to keep it on NHL all they probably heard was mmmmfndndgdhhhfmmnan ”
“ We had a great experience at Gordos Northside. Our server, Tatiana was awesome. The food was great, plentiful and not expensive. Atmosphere was wonderful. The music was '60s and '70s and we could hear each other speak. Thank you, Sara! Manatee Max and Crew will be back soon. ”
“ This place never disappoints. The maduros, fried yucca, and papa rellena are my favorites. Service is always good and friendly. I wish they had a franchise in my town. ”
